Ello (that’s “hello” in british, duh). I’m SOOOOO excited about this Giveaway because the actual prize journeyed across the seas from the UK to me. How cool is that? Pretty cool, I think. I’m practically European now. Anyway, here’s how the journey began:
Part 1: Guy named Felix (greatest name ever) Green falls off ladder, brakes leg and decides he needs “Sweet Kicks” for when he can walk again. Felix then doodles insanely awesome design on shoes, opens up Etsy shop, wears totally rad lion t-shirt, sells stuff, , etc. etc.
Part 2: Girl named Jenny (so mysterious she’s not going to share her middle or last name) decides to start blog, blogs, finds these Red Tales From the Crypt Handpainted groovy kicks, adds them to a friday list of 5-awesomes, gets a 40 million dollar modeling contract, but turns it down because she’d rather blog…It’s true, that happened. I’d just rather blog.
Ok, enough shenanigans… Sir Felix liked my post and wanted to send me not one, but two custom designed totes as a “Thank You” – one for me and one to giveaway to one of my awesome readers (cue roaring applause and uncontrollable bursts of excitement).
Just in case you didn’t have a chance to read my post featuring Inkheart (5 Inspirations to Help You Snag a Hubby or Keep the One Ya’ Got), I’ll tell you a little bit more about today’s guest of honor: “Ink Heart Custom Kicks & Caboodle is a little shop, which customises canvas pumps and a range of other goodies.” While they have some great products for sale online (see below), you can also shout out to them for a pair of totally custom pumps – as they say, “We can put pretty much anything you want on your custom kicks, and the best bit is… no one else will have them!” SIGN ME UP!
If you haven’t had a chance to check out the goods, you should do it…like, yesterday. Here’s a couple of my faveys:
Handpainted Custom Wayfarers Sunglasses – Sweets and Candies available (here) for 29 (pounds?) aka $47 US dollaroonis.
Handpainted Robot Headphones (Phillips) available (here) for a squiggle symbol and the number 49 (that’s approximately $79 bucks U.S.)
FYI – I already used the “squiggle symbol” lingo once before when I talked about pimpin’ your snack food, but it was so good, I had to use it again. Now on to the sweet stuff:
Enter now, for your chance to win a custom designed tote from Inkheart Custom Kicks & Caboodle*. There’s a bunch of ways to get your entry via the simple rafflecopter doohicky below, so make sure you get as many chances as you can! The winner will be selected on or about March 22, 2012, and he or she will be able to pick the tote they want (either the Sweets & Candies design or the Limited Edition Robot Disco tote shown in the pic).
